Economic Development Forum
Objective:
Create domestic economic exchange opportunities;
Develop and enhance the knowledge base;
Increase wealth of WBOS;
Collaborate on programs for entrepreneurial development, mentoring and advocacy.
Our Economic Development Liaison, Judy Irving works with Business Development Chair to best meet the objectives by developing and maintaining a corporate partner solicitation packet; a Corporate Partner and Member Partner contact list and a list of prospects, inviting them to Chapter activities.
Business Development Committee
The Business Development Committee promote business and certification opportunities for the membership with corporate sponsors, other private-sector companies, and local, state, and federal governments. They also develop direct member benefits from corporations when possible and serve as liaison for events of organizations outside NAWBO (WBEA, and SBA events)
Women Mean Business® Expo & Luncheon Leader
Plan and coordinate all aspects of the annual event, including creating a budget.
