Anna continued her economic development career by joining Nevada MicroEnterprise Initiative (NMI) in 1995 as a Training Facilitator and Business Technical Advisor to her current position of Operations Manager and Women’s Business Center Project Director.  Prior to joining NMI, Anna owned and managed two very successful businesses.  

Anna brought to NMI over 27 years of experience and knowledge in finance, banking and retail management, which enable her to assist the micro business owners (start-up and existing) to overcome their many challenges.    Since 1991 to date; NMI has assisted over 17,000 Nevadans through entrepreneurial training, business technical assistance and microloan programs, of which 68% are women.  Anna received numerous awards for her works, to include the SBA’s Financial Services Advocate of The Year in 2000, and the Women of Distinction Award by the National Association of Women’s Business Owner (NAWBO) - Southern Nevada Chapter in 2008.
